St Denys Church

Church Family Lunches

On selected Sundays throughout the year the 11 o'clock service is followed by the Church Family Lunch. All are invited to stay and eat and the meals are an important part of the church social calendar.

Kelvin and assistant offer a superbly prepared lunch.

Members of St Denys congregation take turns at being chef of the day with a variety of enjoyable meals being served. There is usually a choice of meals, a meat dish and always, a vegetarian option

The Church lunches offer a chance for people to meet in a social setting building frendships and strengthening bonds between members of the church, old and new.

As well as the Sunday lunches our members take part in summer barbeque in the church grounds, enjoying the summer sun and a Christmas roast dinner compolete with Turkey (and a vegetarian option) and all the traditional trimmings.

Although there is no charge for the meals members are encouraged to make a small donation towards the cost of the food, any surplus going towards church funds.
