Interior Views
of St Denys Church
Upon entering the church building for the first time many are struck by the sheer size of its
interior, the highly decorative neo gothic style only adding to the spectactular scale and style of the church.
View from near the main entrance of the main church. Out of view to the
right is the Lady Chapel at the far end of the newer south aisle. The
organ is on the left alongside the chancel.
The new church hall clearly showing the beams salvaged from the old church hall.
The room is used by the sparklers playgroup during the week and is used for many
of our Sunday services.
The entrance foyer in the new church centre. Parts of the window surrounds
in the background are again re- used from older buildings.
The altar from the Lady Chapel.
The altar from the main church. The detailing is highly intracate and it
requires many hours of work by dedicated volunteers to keep it polished and in
clean condition.
Stained glass windows on the south aisle.
