projects in the areas of education, health and social care, many of which
are supported by Biblelands. Please pray for the Revd Dr David Ramzy, the
Diocesan Executive Director, and his current need for more staff.
Welcome back to our team who visited Busoga. It was wonderful to hear from
you about our Christian friends in Wakitaka.
Don't forget Scratch and the Basics Bank: Please keep bringing in food and
clothes to help Southampton's people in need.
There is a yellow box at each
service labelled 'A.E.I.O.U.' Please make sure food is within date stamp
and tins are not dented.
Children's Toys Needed !
We are trying to replenish the toy boxes that are used at church. We are
looking for:

· farm animals and little people for babies and toddlers
· books suitable for babies and toddlers
If you are having a clear out and are able to contribute any of these items,
please let Alan Bamford or Sera Rumble know. Many thanks - Sera
Alpha course: In September we hope to run another Alpha course. If you are
new to our church or new to the Christian faith or just want to find out
more then let Kelvin know so that he can choose the best evening for the
Alpha group to meet.
Vacancy for School Governor at St Denys Primary School
St Denys Primary School has a vacancy on its governing body. The governing
body of a school is responsible for ensuring that it is run to promote pupil
achievement. Its duties include:
· setting strategic direction ,policies and direction
· approving the school budget
· reviewing progress against the school budget and objectives
· appointing, challenging and supporting the headteacher
This is not a vacancy for a parent governor. The school is specifically
looking for an enthusiastic and committed member of the local community who
has an interest in education
and who does NOT have children at the school. If you would like to volunteer
as a school governor to start in September, please contact Carolyn Fayle ,
headteacher at the school, or Martin Smith who will pass your details on.
