Youth Cell

Our growing youth cell group shares the values of our other groups, that of fellowship and learning. It is open to members of the church between the ages of 12 and 18.  

Unlike the more traditional activities based youth groups the fortnightly meetings follow a similar format to the adult cell groups, with the same format of welcome, worship, word and witness. Through cell we create an environment where they can learn and grow as Christians and discuss their faith and how it interacts with their daily lives.

Although the adult leadership team attend the sessions it is the groups members who lead the meetings discussions, worship and learning, helping them to grow in confidence, faith and the ability to share their beliefs and views with others.

At present due to a shortage of leadership volunteers we are unable to run the cell group but hope to re-start as soon as possible.  If you are a member of  St Denys church with experience and a passion for working with young people then the team would be pleased to hear from you.
